Le Markstein, on the Route des Crêtes, is a free-flight site where paragliding schools based in Oderen offer tandem discovery flights as well as beginner and improver courses.
Flights usually last 10 to 30 minutes depending on conditions. The instructor handles take-off and landing; some operators let you take the controls for a while.
