Photo: Pexels In Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines, the Tellure mining park takes you into a real silver mine worked in the 16th century. Helmet on, you walk the galleries to understand the miners’ work and the past wealth of the Val d’Argent.
Playful, staged areas make the visit accessible to children. Every June the town also hosts a major mineral and gem show.
