Photo: Pexels Mittelbergheim is a wine village in the Bas-Rhin whose built heritage earned it the Plus Beaux Villages de France label. Its Renaissance town hall and winegrowers’ houses line the main street.
The village is known for its grand cru, the Zotzenberg, which covers the slope above the houses. A vineyard trail lets you walk through the vines and enjoy views over the village.
💡 Good to know
Mittelbergheim is about 8 km from Obernai, so the two are easy to combine in a day.
