Photo: Pexels La Voie Bleue links Sierck-les-Bains with Lyon over some 700 km. In the Vosges it follows the Vosges Canal: from Épinal the greenway skirts Lac de Bouzey, the canal’s reservoir, before reaching La Vôge-les-Bains.
The La Vôge-les-Bains–Corre stage (27 km, rated ‘beginner’) crosses the Vosges forest and then enters Haute-Saône, where the hand-operated swing bridge at Selles opens to let boats through. The surface is smooth and more than 80% of the route is on cycle paths.
💡 Good to know
The Épinal–La Vôge-les-Bains–Belfort regional train line makes it easy to combine rail and bike. Beyond Corre, part of the route uses minor departmental roads.
