The Hautes-Vosges Greenway starts at the Remiremont lake and splits after 3 km, at Dommartin-lès-Remiremont, into two branches: one climbs the Moselle valley to Bussang (about 30 km), the other the Moselotte valley to Cornimont (about 21 km).
The smooth 3 m-wide surface suits bikes and inline skates alike. On the Moselle side the path passes through many villages, including Le Thillot and its Maison des Hautes Mines; on the Moselotte side it heads into forest after Vagney and passes close to the Crosery gorges.
💡 Good to know
The gradient rises gently towards Bussang and Cornimont, so the return trip is downhill. Barriers slow cyclists at junctions, especially on the Moselle branch.
