🧭 Your GuidePfifferdaj honours the minstrels, travelling musicians whose guild was based in Ribeauvillé under the protection of the lords of Ribeaupierre. The tradition is said to date back to the Middle Ages.
On Sunday afternoon, the costumed procession winds through the old town to the sound of fifes and drums. Afterwards, a free wine tasting is offered on the town hall square in a festive, winegrowing atmosphere.
