Riquewihr is one of the wine towns on the Alsace Wine Route. In and around the village, many estates open their cellars to visitors.
A tasting is a chance to compare the main Alsace varieties, from Sylvaner and Riesling to Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer, and to talk terroir with the winemaker. The official Wine Route website lists cellars, estates and introductory tasting courses.
