In the Middle Ages the minstrels’ guild placed itself under the protection of the lords of Ribeaupierre, remembered today at the house known as the Pfifferhus. On the first Sunday of September the Pfifferdaj brings a large costumed historical parade, and a medieval Christmas market takes over the streets in December.
