Photo: Pexels In Gunsbach, the Cheese House introduces the traditions of the marcaires, the cheesemakers of the high pastures, with their tools and way of life. The tour takes in a film about the valley, a historic barn and a demonstration area set up as a dairy farm.
The highlight is a Munster-making demonstration in several languages, followed by a tasting of valley cheeses. A shop selling local produce and a restaurant round off the visit.
